Merkur, subtitled Deutsche Zeitschrift für europäisches Denken, is publishing house Klett Cotta intellectual magazines in Germany, published monthly in Stuttgart.[1] The magazine appears since 1947 and has an edition of approximately 4,800 copies as of July 2011.[1] Since August 2011, more than 750 issues of the journal has been published.[2]
